I have been fortunate to win several Writing Prizes. These have led to inclusion in anthologies by the University of London Press and Penguin Random House (Vintage) NZ. I have also been published by Granta, adda, and the Association of Commonwealth Languages and Literature (ACLALS).

Winner - 2022 Commonwealth Short Story Prize (Pacific)

This was for the short story: The Nightwatch which has been published by Granta in the United Kingdom (UK). This competition is organised by Commonwealth Foundation Creatives, the arts arm of the Commonwealth Foundation.

The Commonwealth Foundation administers its programmes in 56 Commonwealth countries, all former British colonies in the continents of Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe & Canada, and the Pacific. These regions also constitute the annual Commonwealth Short Story Competition.

The 2025 Commonwealth Short Story Competition is now open for submissions. It closes on 1 November 2024.
